Dear Diary,
We awake to a warm but overcast day. A promise of sun. After breakfast Al and Chuck go play at Capital City golf course with neighbor Steve. Chuck has to use a hodge podge of clubs and no shoes but anticipates the game. Betty and Pat go for lunch in downtown Olympia at the Oyster House on the harbor. We sit outside and it is sunny. We have nice views of the capital building on the hill. Walking around to little shops and a particularly nice artists' coop. Pat finds Leandra Drumm's pewter work in this shop, LD is artist from Akron, Ohio and works with her Dad Don Drumm. We all link up on the deck back at the house. Al has his first golf game since his abdominal surgery and does very well. Chuck plays a 104, not bad on strange course and strange equipment. Betty fixes a nice dinner and we play a couple games of euchre. Betty and Al have caught on fast. We have contacted Brenna and she is joining us for dinner tomorrow night in Seattle. She has had a busy day at the lab at University of Washington. Fun day, good time with friends. Night.
